The Lake View Garden Bar is situated straight across from Lake Windermere and is homed in a beautiful building dating back over 100 years. Onsite they have kept certain features and up-cycled others to create a cosy, modern but still pub feeling venue.

Whilst this site is a bustling spot for locals and visitors alike it does have plenty of room and is available at certain times of the year for Private hire, with options to take over all or some of the space.

If you are looking for a magical, but modern pub with some of the best views available in the Lake District then we invite you to enquire with us below. Each inquiry is looked at on an individual basis and we take into consideration time of year, services required and number of guests coming, before we come back to you. Being upfront we can not accommodate all requests and certain times of the year are not available however we try to accommodate as many enquiries as possible.

Please note we don’t take table reservations and private hire has a minimum group size of 40.

  • We can offer a range of food options from buffet menus to full meals. Prices start from £25pp.

  • Whether you want to have an open bar, limited spend or use a drinks token system for your guests we have the experience to advise & help you get the ideal solution for your needs.

  • We can offer private hire generally between November and April with options for all day, daytime between 1pm & 5pm and also of an evening between 6pm & 11pm.

    Please note we don’t take bookings on bank holidays & over school holidays.

  • We can offer your Live Music from beat beat acoustics to DJ and entertainers. Let us know in your inquiry what you need and we’ll come back with prices.

  • As well as live music you might want to consider other activities for your guests. We have had magicians, black jack, roulette, fortune tellers and more at private events. These can really add that extra WOW for your guests.
